Friday, January 27th, Pick-ups 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Since 2019, our 501(c)3 foundation has worked in the community to offer educational services to children of all socio-economic backgrounds.
In order to continue our work, we depend on the generosity of stakeholders. YOU can support Jireh Farm Foundation by participating in our field-to-fork dinner.
Under the direction of Immanuel and Chef Gladwin Jarvis, the team will feature REGGAE PASTA for the entree. This dish incorporates the authentic flavors of the islands accompanied by an Italian white wine cream sauce that tantalizes the palate. Jireh Family Farm-raised boneless chicken breast will be sauteed in spicy Jerk seasonings and tri-color peppers. All this is folded into a creamy garlic sauce and fettucini. Served with yummy, sweet plantains.
Mr. Jarvis welcomes you to his family farm for a hearty, family-style meal. He takes pride in raising and producing all-natural proteins and garden vegetables right from their 4-acre homestead. Immanuel is repeatedly recognized as one who fashions meals bursting with flavor and natural goodness.
Gladwin Jarvis is an Antiguan-born, award-winning Executive Chef and restaurateur in Wake Forest, NC. With his specialization in Caribbean cuisine, he has owned and operated seven restaurants in the Va. Beach & Hampton Roads area. Chef Jarvis has a passion for integrating cultural flavors from all over the world.
Our Why?
Through the Jireh Farm Foundation, the Durham-based organization restores the appreciation of animal husbandry, gardening, and land sustainability for generations to come. They focus on creating fun and engaging hands-on activities for young people that sparks interest in land ownership and self-reliance through our Summer Farm Camps. Your support helps Jireh Farm Foundation bring more children to the farm to appreciate the joys of farming.
(Dinner pick-ups will be Friday, January 27th from 5 pm - 7 pm at the farm.)
